Sufism
The aim of Sufism is to purify the self, the heart, and the soul.
Sufism is a mystical path, a path of knowing yourself and knowing your Lord. It is a practice of being in the world while being with the Divine.
As He says, “Neither My heavens nor My earth contain Me, but the heart of My faithful believer contains Me.”
Our Guide
Traveling on a spiritual path is greatly assisted with the help of a teacher or guide.
Our guide, Sidi Muhammad Sai’d al-Jamal ar-Rifa’i as-Shadhili, is the Head of the Sufi Council at the Holy Land. He is a teacher and custodian for the al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem.
The teachings of Abdu’s-Salam ibn Mashish are the foundation of the Shadhuli tariqa.
Shadhuli Sufi Community
We are spiritual seekers who support each other with love and truth.
We pray that we travel straight on our way. We seek to balance our inner heart work with outer work in the world. We pray for the needy and the suffering.
It is our desire to bring the message of peace, love, mercy, justice, and freedom to all.
